613 Avenue Create ~ ATG / Optional Twist Create/Decorate A Container

Hello there, it’s Jackie with my inspiration at 613 Avenue Create. We are always an ATG Challenge but add an extra twist for those who want to go that extra mile This time our twist is ~ Create/Decorate A Container. what will you share with us, please enter HERE

Recipe

A crate kit bought at a Craft Show. Easy to put together but really burnt my fingers doing it.Not great to use a hot glue gun with no feeling in your fingers!
I painted it white with picket fence distress roll on paint, then I used Distress Oxide sprays in two colours, 1 pink & the other a peachy colour.I rubbed the edges with a gold wax.
I die cut some flowers and leaves to decorate.
I used letter stickers to finish.
I use it to store my ready done paper bows in.

  1. Jackie, I just love the beautiful effect you achieve using the Oxide Sprays. I am working on a project that has gone terribly wrong, but I may be able to fix it using your process. Will let you know! Thanks for always creating beautiful and inspirational projects for our challenges!

  2. It's hard for me to see the yellow typing, so I had to really look at the black to guess at the challenge blog, but that may just be me.

I have to say, the crate turned out just beautiful (sorry you burned your fingers). Beautiful flowers too. So glad you joined us at Die Cut Divas for our "hot" challenge.
